From the folks behind La Grande Orange Pizzeria and Chelsea’s Kitchen, Buck & Rider is a handsome, beach house-inspired seafood restaurant that flies in fresh catches daily to create a menu that focuses on both standards like freshwater blue prawns, oysters, and Prince Edward Island mussels, plus creative dishes like a Thai-style king crab salad and an ahi tuna burger with avocado. Guests can quench their thirst with a wide selection of hand-crafted cocktails, too, such as the rum-infused High and Mighty with Jamaican bitters and traditional Swedish liqueur.
Jazz Sunday Brunch at Buck & Rider
A Sunday just isn’t a Sunday without brunch, and we wanted to create a new tradition for the neighborhood where family and friends can enjoy great company, exceptional sounds, and extraordinary food!”, says Regional Director of Sales & Marketing Deirdre James. “LGO and Buck & Rider are founded on the premise that the heart of the home is the kitchen and where memories and relationships are forged.
Buck & Rider is a new casual-upscale seafood restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona. The original inspiration was a traditional prairie home with sleeping porches combined with a charming off-white Australian boathouse where one feels transported to the coast; the architecture was to be reminiscent of the Arcadia ranch homes featuring citrus groves, creating a connection to the indoors and outdoors. One of the goals was to build a new restaurant that feels like it has been tucked into the Arcadia neighborhood for decades, with the original palette of off white paint to set off the authentic materials of charred wood, siding, and stone that were selected. The design challenge was to take a relatively small lot and maximize both the parking spaces and the number of seats for the restaurant while remaining true to the design.
